From time to time we receive rings that have been found and are sent to us to locate the original owner. Our records currently only go back four years and we have the following rings stored in our Lost & Found vault for the original owners to claim. The JR East Infoline is a telephone-based service providing JR East transportation information for non-Japanese customers. Information is provided in English, Chinese and Korean. The Infoline also provides information about the newest JR East trains and lost and found assistance. Nearly 20,000 items are turned into Metro-North's Lost & Found Facility every year. We have established a Lost and Found process that is designed to recover and return as many items as possible to our customers. This process involves several steps that must take place, and requires your cooperation and patience. Report lost and found items by using this form. Due to Covid-19 health and safety concerns we will only be able to attempt to locate and return irreplaceable items. Please fill out all required fields.

Earthquakes
Low-scale earthquakes are commonplace and generally go unnoticed; however more powerful quakes can come as quite a shock if you are not used to them. If an earthquake does occur, stay calm. If you are in a hotel, restaurant or store, follow the instructions of the staff. They are well trained. Don’t rush outside. If you are out in the city, be aware of what is above you. Move to an open and safe place without panicking. When checking into a hotel, take note of the emergency exits. For further information on disaster preparedness, refer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s official website or JNTO’s official website.
Lost property
If you lose something valuable while traveling on a train, in a taxi, or at the airport, there are a number of lost property offices that you can get in touch with. Make sure to be aware of the company running the public transport you are using, just in case you need to get in touch at a later stage.
